Enjoyed my first step towards being received into the Anglican Catholic Church today. Plus, this parish has grown within the last year. It was refreshing. Let me take this week LORD and pass forward to your created beings, made in your image, the same love and compassion that Thou hast shown me today in thy house. Blessed be Thy name. Amen!

South Carolina actually has 4 ACC churches. Greenville, Aiken, Florence and Charleston.

Well, not until Reception, but yes, it makes EVERY moment of doubt, sadness, depression, anxiety I have felt these last 8 years worth it. Of course, it will be all worth it, I pray by the grace of the Good LORD, come Eternity. Please help those who want to serve you LORD.

Archbishop Haverland will be at our parish on June 11th for his annual visit and that is when I will be received. We had a great Palm Sunday Liturgy. Lord bless us all this most holy of weeks.

May I ask Anglo and Rev what made you leave the Catholic Church?

I haven't left the catholic church. I no longer practice the Roman Latin rite of the universal church and I have my reasons based on particular teachings that are a) not in Holy Writ b) not for sure in Holy Tradition as who knows what "traditions" St Paul was talking about. Can't imagine St Paul being on board with the monk who had the "vision of the two ladders" when Holy Writ clearly speaks that Christ will receive all who turn to Him.

And a myriad of other personal reasons. Thanks for asking. Hope that helps.
