Are Anglicans Protestant?

    What you say is true, buy we should recognise that your definition isn't sufficient to alter things. As I have said previously, Rome has used the term previously to define her self when it suited her, this, in a letter to the British Government. When I first became aware of things, the Church in Britain used to claim Revelation. Scripture along with the Greek Fathers of the first three hundred years, plus the Seven Councils. We should state the position that Anglicanism is not a question of being liked or popular, neither is it a matter of geography, it is a question of faith and teaching!
