    Hi
    Does your church practice Tithing?
What is your view on it?
I live in Canada and the Anglican Communion of Canada does not have any view on it.

I've never heard anything about it in TEC except once in a legacy planning pamphlet it was suggested that one give 10% as a way of following " the ancient practice" of the church.

One other issue that comes to mind: one cannot vote or hold a parish office unless they are a member of record, meaning that they are baptized, confirmed aND have a record of giving some amount overror the previous 12 months.

Yes my church does. It's biblical and should be a practise of all members. A history of tithing, no certain amount- just a regular history, is a requirement for vestry members. If you'll be trusted with the church's finances you should be a regular contributor yourself.
