I may have shared this in the past, I can't remember, but if I have, the newer members might find it useful. The website, "Early English Books Online" can be searched by author using the first letter of the last name. They have a wonderful selection of books by Anglican authors. This is the quick search for works by Archbishop Laud: https://quod.lib.umich.edu/e/eebo?c=eebo&cc=eebo&key=author&page=browse&value=Laud&Submit=Submit
What a phenomenal find, @Peterprint. EEBO is one of the most important databases on the internet. Usually it costs enormous amounts of money for a license, and individuals can almost never afford it, reserving it for major institutions. The University of Michigan is providing access to (some?) of it free here! Take it while you can! Or just wait until we transcribe it online in a nice and attractive format However this version of EEBO does not have Alexander Nowell's catechisms, so we are still ahead on this one.
