    The Crucifixion by Fleming Rutledge

    The Life With God Bible, edited by folks like Foster, Brueggmann, Peterson, and others

    and On The Truth of Holy Scripture by John Wycliffe

    had a good haul from the bookstore today: Ellicott's commentary in one volume, God's passion for His Glory: living the vision of Jonathan Edwards by John Piper, Reading the Bible Supernaturally also by Piper, Stepping Heavenward by Elizabeth Prentiss, Truth for all time by John Calvin

    One may at least hope that the online version inspires people to look into the book more, and go on to buy a physical copy at least! Enjoy the book.

    Google Books is a terrific source of free books on Anglican theology and history. About 80% through Browne's Exposition on the XXXIX Articles.

    I anticipate buying Scougal on my Kindle, just because of the name recognition now!

    Scougal is wonderful... I read his Life of God in the Soul of Man quite some time ago and still ponder his statement “the worth and excellency of a soul is to be measured by the object of its love.”
