Hi all; Just registered, so I thought I'd say one or two things about myself as an introduction. I attend an Anglo-Catholic parish in Toronto; a parish I love and am heavily involved in as a server and helping out (right now) with the youth and in the nursery. By profession, I'm a Latin teacher- yes, there are some of us still around. I'm heavily influenced by Benedictine spirituality, especially in the application of that spirituality to the every day. I enjoy reading the Church Fathers which is, of course, a logical accompaniment to my interest in Classics. I was fairly active on the old (and now defunct) Episcopal Voices and Orthodox Anglican boards, but kids and job have made it hard to contribute to many discussions, so I have no idea how much I'll be posting. We'll see how this goes. Phil
Welcome Phil! May God bless your time here. I have always wanted to learn Latin properly. Back in law school, I had a professor who used to say, inter alia, "Anything worth saying is worth saying in Latin." Blessings, LL
Welcome Phil. I personally think you will love this forum as it is all about quality instead of quantity. It is a safe haven for traditional Anglicans, and a space for mature discussions with enquirers.
