Greetings from Texas! Im glad I came across these forums, always looking for fellow anglicans to chat with! Im a thirty something husband, dad and plaything for a snooty cat. Was reared Anglo-Catholic, but lean more towards the reformed side.

Welcome Pardner. I spent two years in TX myself: San Antonio and Corpus Christi. The further South one goes, the less Anglican presence there is.

Welcome aboard DH! May God richly bless your time here.

Are you TEC, ACNA, Continuing, or something else altogether?

Thanks for all the welcomes! As for the questions, I am a TEC member . I was involved in the continuum most my life, but think the TEC is still worth holding on to!

Maybe rare, but I'm TEC and even with the option to go ACNA in a few weeks I'd rather stay where I'm at.

I think every major continuing church minus APCK has a church of sorts here. There is also an REC parish semi near by which is nice to visit on occasion. I'd say ACNA's umbrella makes 4 or 5 churches alone, not bad.

"Why go anywhere?" has become my rally cry. People in my own church need the gospel , I can't abandon them.
