Hello, I am new to this site. I went from Baptist (age 11-13) to Catholic (age 16-29) to Episcopalian (age 30+). At first, I considered myself more Anglo-Catholic, but now I'm somewhere between Reformed Catholic and Anglo-Orthodox. I live with my partner Heather, who has been an Episcopalian since she was a teenager battling chronic illness, and our four month old daughter Sophia, who was baptized in The Episcopal Church and receives Holy Eucharist with us every Sunday. We also have an Australian Shepherd named Lincoln and two cats Emma and Rowyn. I am also a veteran battling PTSD and depression and unemployment. I find strength and comfort and inspiration in our faith.
It's hard brother. I struggled with employment when I first got out of the Navy. I got lots of interviews but not hired. I guess the companies were able to check a box: oh, yes, we interviewed a veteran. Meanwhile, I was cooking refried beans trying to bring some income into the household.
