My name is Thomas. I am a Lutheran who has grown dissatisfied with his denomination's indifference (and, in some cases, unbridled hostility) toward the broader creedal-conciliar tradition. I have recently begun reading much from Roman Catholic (e.g., Fr. Thomas Joseph White), Eastern Orthodox (e.g., Fr. John Behr), and Anglican theologians (e.g., Phillip Cary) and have many questions to ask about the Anglican tradition (especially the newly formed ACNA). After having only briefly perused this forum, I am confident that this is a place where I will receive some genuinely Anglican answers. I look forward to our conversations together. Advent blessings to you all. Pax, Thomas
Welcome aboard Thomas. May God richly bless your time here. I am a fan of many of the Lutheran reformers. May I ask which synod you're a member of? I'm guessing ELCA but one never knows.
