Originally from Wales, my parents and I moved here 40 years ago. I still remember a great deal of Wales and the UK and I think that maybe that has somehow been influential in my being drawn to Anglicanism. That and the influence of J.I. Packer's writings. I've considered myself a conservative, traditional Anglican for the past two years.
Welcome to the board, Andy. I, too, am Canadian - albeit second generation English. My mum's from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She moved her in '57, long before I was born. It is good to have another Canadian on the Forum. I don't know much about Packer, but conservative traditional Anglicanism is welcome!
Welcome! I actually studied in Wales a few years ago. The Church there is pretty far from "traditional", at least these days.
