Does anyone know of a good book to read that explains traditional Anglican theology? It could be old or new. I would prefer an actual trade book (meaning one designed to be sold in a store) if one exists.

Any of the number of commentaries on the Articles, the best are Browne's, Beveridge's, Rogers', Thomas', and Boultbee's (in my opinion). Also check out Thomas' "The Catholic Faith". "The Theology of the English Reformers" by Hughes. I can give you more if you would like some.

"The Catholic Religion: A Manual of Instruction for Members of the Anglican Church " (1917) by Vernon Staley is a great catechism for Anglicans of the more Anglo-Catholic flavour, preserving in its conservatism and with the spirit of the Oxford Movement.

Otherwise, the Archbishop Emeritus of Canterbury, the most reverend Rowan Williams, wrote many good books on Anglican theology, from the Eucharist to the usage of icons and their symbology.

Thank you for both suggestions! I will look into them.
