Just wondering how this is handled in different areas. Do you use a gluten free sacramental bread host? Do you let the communicant partake of the wine only? Is it ever a problem in your parish?

We offer gluten-free hosts for those who need it. We communicate in both kinds regardless. It’s not an issue.

GF bread is readily available at our Eucharist. The rector knows who has requested it, and he includes GF hosts during the consecration.
