Female bishop: Man interrupts Libby Lane ordination

A man has interrupted the consecration of the Church of England's first female bishop.

The unidentified man said that "it was not in the Bible", when Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu asked the congregation if it was their will that Mrs Lane should be ordained.

The man asked to speak to Dr Sentamu about the "absolute impediment" before walking off.

In some ways I admire him, but, I have always understood that the ,'policy or faith', is laid out by the Convocation or Synod. That is a Catholic stance and is based on Catholic Teaching?? That is why I moved to an Anglican communion within the apostolic succession, which succession it appears The C.of E, had departed from by dabbling with Women's Orders.
