Yup. Just see our natural law theorists, like Richard Cumberland, William Blacksone, the Cambridge Platonists, not to mention our appropriation of the thought of the natural law giants Hugo Grotius and Samuel Pufendorf. Here’s a good one: De Jure Belli, by the notable Oxford jurist (and Italian exile) Alberico Gentili. Published in Latin in the 1590s, and translated into English in 1933: https://www.classicsofstrategy.com/2015/07/de-jure-belli-libri-tres-gentili.html By all accounts he was a precursor of Hugo Grotius and the theory of natural law, an overall incredibly influential and important legal and moral thinker.
How could Anglicans have a Just War theory when, every Sunday, they always share a sign of peace? Isn't that more of a Just Peace theory? I'm Just Kidding, of course.
