The US has significant diaspora of many of the Asian populations. The first and second generation immigrants tend to prefer to worship in their mother tongue. Most larger US cities will have Vietnamese and Korean churches.
Great! Mine include Arabic …. here in Germany .. in Christian church communities from Irak, Syria, and Egypt. And Basque …. in the Basque country in Northern Spain.
I attended Mass in a Vietnamese RCC in the USA, State of Georgia. At the time, the parish priest was an American that had been a chaplain during the Vietnam War. I had been invited to attend and did so. He was fluent in Vietnamese and his deacon had come from Vietnam. The deacon is now parish priest and the American priest is now deceased. This was decades ago.
