I have found this a really interesting article in the sense of where ACNA's leadership is going... and it does seem pretty encouraging "There is now a home being built, a Communion for biblically faithful Anglicans all over the world, including those that have left or may choose to leave compromised Anglican churches that no longer follow “the faith once delivered to the saints,” the Anglican patrimony that Bishop Michael Nazir Ali felt he could no longer find in the mother Church of England. Now there is an ecclesial body, a Communion to which the Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (GAFCON) can bring distressed, biblically faithful, orthodox Anglicans from heterodox dioceses and provinces for membership. GAFCON can authenticate and recognize those in distress and gather them for membership" the rest of the article- https://americananglican.org/featured/a-hope-and-a-future-for-anglicans/
These are nice words but are they going to do anything ever when a province like Kenya, breaks ranks and ordains a woman bishop? When are they going to finally end wo in the ACNA
I have been told that there are canons drafted to discipline the C4SO diocese (the main purveyor of women’s ordination) time will tell
There seem to be many parishes in Australia going down the progressive or new age path. In my own parish I have made myself unpopular by speaking out against these. I am trying to hold on to the traditional parts while rejecting the progressive/new age parts. My wife is an active church member who doesn't think too deeply about theology; whatever the priest says must be right. It would distress her if we left and I also would miss the friends I have there. It can be difficult to distinguish those matters which should be tolerated as acceptable differences of opinion and those we should divide over. "But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed!" Galatians 1:8
