I haven't been on the forum in a while! I'll be headed to St. John's College in Annapolis next year. I've been searching for a good traditional Episcopal/Anglican church in the Baltimore/DC area, but haven't found any. I thought St. Paul's K Street might be a good idea, but then I found out that one of their priests is/was a homosexual. Are there any traditional Anglican churches in Baltimore or DC?
I don't see a homosexual priest as a problem so long as he is leading a single, celibate life. As Catholics we believe in hating the sin but loving the sinner
here are 4. let me know if these are not close. I can check others. ST Aidan Chestertown ST Paul in Crownsville ST Alban Joppa Mount Calvary Lothian. All in Maryland and around D.C. Each is in the Anglican Province of America. Most parishes in the APA are Anglo-Catholic. All traditional and Orthodox. Blessings Fr. Mark
http://www.rec-nema.org/?page_id=22 A list of Reformed Episcopal Churches in the Baltimore area. REC in the Northern states I have heard are more low church. All of them would be traditional and orthodox. All the parishes in this post and the prior one would use the 1928 or the REC 2005 prayerbook which is based off the '28 with maybe more scripture readings. Hope this helps. Fr. Mark
