Greetings, all! I just stumbled across this forum recently and thought it might be fun to wander in from time to time. I've been a priest in the ACNA for several years, now, and have grown more in love with the historic Anglican tradition year by year. I came from a non-denominational evangelical upbringing, introduced to Roman Catholicism in college, and finally split the difference in seminary. So I'm a bit of a highchurchman, a bit of an Anglo-Catholic, though sometimes not high- or catholic-enough for the real diehards. My primarily role in life at the moment is a stay-at-home-dad for my two young lads, while I serve as the Vicar for a tiny church plant and maintain an online ministry presence to keep my minister's heart and mind active and sane. Writing is something I enjoy; and liturgy is a passion of mine, so it works out pretty nicely. Oh, and leorningcniht is Old English for "disciple", as found in the West Saxon Gospels. Anglo-Saxon studies is a bit of an historical hobby of mine. Anyway, hello hello, and see you in some other threads!
