I pray that the recent upheaval on the forum has not driven too many people away, what can we do to attract the thoughtful and respectful members back?
Maybe I do know, after all. Quality discussions, encouragement, depth, fellowship, a welcoming spirit, and a variety of topics - these are the things that first drew me to the Forums. We who remain need to keep up the good work and hold the fort!
I would like to see more discussion about liturgy and the Bible rather then arguing about which dead theologian said what, where and to whom he/she said it.
Maybe a bit more emphasis on the forum being about Anglicanism, and a bit less on it being a forum for Anglicans. This may result in more diverse opinions being accepted for discusion and we may even learn something. Hey I'm a non believer and write to a Christian forum and it doesn't seem to cause any problems.
Part of it may be the time of the year. In the warm weather, I notice less postings on ALL websites. After a long winter, folks want to be outdoors and enjoy the weather.
