    Really crazy.

I would hope this could be nipped in the bud... I doubt it will be.

Pope Francis is not opposed to this. He just recently clamped down on the traditional latin mass communities. But things like things don't get a finger lifted; they are part of "making a mess" which he had incessantly called for ever since his elevation. Sad what's happened to the Roman church.

This is the consequence of the polls and surveys that have been gathered for years reflecting that many Catholic seminarians are not heterosexual. In some dioceses, most who make it to ordination are not heterosexual. Certain seminaries are known to be exceptional at driving off straight students.

It is not unusual I think among the Catholics of Germany. They place their own claims for changes to be made in doctrine to satisfy their own ends. They have no interest in conforming themselves to the laws laid down by God.

Nope, that isn't how it ends. Rev. 21:8 might be how it ends, though.

No discrimination. Just treat them like other sinners; like me.

For a RC priest, sexual orientation really shouldn't come into play if they just could be depended upon to not violate their vow of celibacy. But they can't keep their pants on, so there ya go. :p Maybe the RCC should have been routinely castrating all priest-ordination candidates throughout history. Better yet, let them marry women. Frankly, the whole priestly celibacy thing just doesn't work.

I believe German cardinal Reinhard Marx likes to foment dissent by saying things that are contrary to official Roman Catholic Church teaching to get himself noticed. I doubt he's capable of an original thought that would get the media interested.

As they did originally. St Peter was married and they claim him as the first pope.
The Second Lateran Council (1139) made the promise to remain celibate a prerequisite to ordination, abolishing the married priesthood. That's more than 1/2 the history of the RCC that permitted priests to marry.
