It should be reading time indeed! Jerome translated the Bible into Latin in the 4th century. He was a great scholar, theologian and priest.
I got St. Jerome, too, which doesn't seem right at all. I admire the acerbic writing style in certain of his letters, but on the whole I do not feel much of a kinship with him. He was strident and unforgiving when it came to orthodoxy; very much a Latin. My favorite Church Fathers are those of the Cappadocian and Alexandrian schools. With Tertullian as the wild card. It's a fun little survey, but it's too short and limiting.
I should think so. There's a lot of overlap between you and St. Jerome, although one difference that comes to mind is that Jerome had a soft spot for classical pagans. I believe he had a vast personal library of pagan works that he'd collected since his youth, and he was reluctant to part with it even as his theological conservatism hardened.
Well...I certainly enjoyed reading classical pagan works like the Odyssey, the Iliad or the Aeneid when I was younger. And I do have a historical interest in both Western and Eastern Paganism, since those subjects were part of my area of studies in university. I also fancy the Latin and Ancient Greek languages so it's not like I'm completely averse to pagan heritage. I admit that I'm not exactly a fan as you are, though.

I'm very disappointed that I didn't get Origen or St. Clement of Alexandria. I'm not a big admirer of St. Jerome. I blame the survey. Also, I recognize the guy whose site it's on. He's an EWTN contributor; rather blah actually. Fie on't!
